They are now seeking a Junior Investment Banking Data Analyst to join their growing analytics and deal support team.

The Role
This position is ideal for an ambitious graduate or early-career professional who wants hands-on exposure within a live investment banking environment. You will support senior analysts and transaction teams by transforming complex financial data into structured insight used for client decisions.

This is not a back-office reporting role; you will work closely with front-office professionals on real mandates.

Core Responsibilities

Interpreting and structuring financial datasets for transaction use
Assisting in company valuations and comparable analysis
Supporting M&A and capital raising projects
Building and refining financial spreadsheets
Preparing analytical summaries for pitch presentations
Conducting sector research and performance benchmarking
Maintaining clean, accurate deal tracking systems

Salary & Incentive Structure

Base Salary: £37,000 – £44,000

Bonus & Rewards Package:

Annual performance bonus (up to 20–30%)

Candidate Profile

Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Accounting or related discipline
Strong numerical reasoning ability
Advanced Excel proficiency
Understanding of financial statements and valuation principles
High attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication
Comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment

Desirable:

Exposure to financial modelling
Internship or placement in financial services
Familiarity with data tools (e.g., Power BI, SQL or Python)
